WHAT TIME WILL OUR SESSION BE AT?
Most outdoor sessions take place about an hour and a half before sunset, when the light turns warm and golden and everything feels just a little softer. This is often called Golden Hour, and it creates the most beautiful, glowing backdrop for your family.
That said, your story is not limited to one time of day. Sessions can be thoughtfully planned around what works best for you.
Indoor sessions are typically held in the morning or early afternoon, when natural light gently fills your home. This will vary from home to home.
DO YOU PICK THE LOCATION OR DO WE?
Light plays a huge role in how I choose locations, as it truly shapes the mood and feel of your images. I have several favourite spots where the light consistently shows up beautifully, and I am always on the lookout for new ones.
If you have a meaningful location in mind, whether it is your property or a place your family loves, I am absolutely open to that as well. The goal is always beautiful light in a setting that feels true to you.
I'M WORRIED MY CHILDREN WON'T COOPERATE!
Please do not stress. I truly understand children, and they are not meant to sit still. They are meant to move and be themselves.
We will capture those classic smiling at the camera images first, then we let the pressure go. From there, the session is relaxed and playful. I use gentle prompts and games to bring out natural connection and laughter.
You do not need perfectly behaved kids for beautiful photos. Just show up and I will take care of the rest.
HOW AND WHEN DO WE GET OUR IMAGES?
All sessions include a private online gallery where you can download your images directly to your devices. No additional purchases are required, though you are welcome to order professional prints and products through me. They are printed in house in my print studio and delivered in just a couple days!
Your gallery will be ready within 3 to 4 weeks of your session.
DO YOU OFFER MINI SESSIONS?
Yes, I do offer mini sessions throughout the year.
Mini sessions are shorter in length and offered at a lower price point, making them perfect for a quick update or capturing a few beautiful images without committing to a full session. They are simple, relaxed, and designed to give you a small collection of meaningful photos in less time.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION?RESCHEDULING POLICY?
Life happens, I completely understand. If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. The more notice, the better.
A $50 deposit is required to secure your session date. If you need to reschedule, your deposit will be transferred to your new date. If you choose to cancel, the deposit is non refundable.
DO YOU OFFER SESSIONS OTHER THAN FAMILY, MATERNITY AND NEWBORN?
Yes, I absolutely do.
In addition to family, maternity, and newborn sessions, I also photograph extended families, couples, engagements, milestones, Fresh 48 sessions, elopements, and weddings.
