Ten years ago, I picked up a camera without knowing it would quietly become part of who I am. What I found was not just a creative outlet, but a way of holding onto time.
I am an introverted people person. I love slow mornings, quiet evenings, and the comfort of home. I have two children, a ten year old son and a daughter stepping into her teenage years. My world quietly revolves around them. Their personalities. Their shifting interests. The hobbies and sports that light them up. I find myself constantly learning who they are becoming, and wishing I could bottle up each stage before it changes.
Motherhood has made me more patient, more aware of how quickly time moves and notice the small things now. The way my son still leans into me when he laughs. The way my daughter pushes her hair back while she talks. The subtle changes that happen right before your eyes.
That awareness shapes everything about how I photograph families.
